The Long Hope Pub

At the top of the angel hill looking down into the belly of kings cross and it a smattering of stations is perched the oddly named “long hope”. Quiet in the day and at night far enough away from the action to be comfortable. Creepy across the floorboards inside we come across Quiet booths contrasting against the picnic table outside the front. Being that no one is in here there is fast service and while I wait for the beer I notice posters for a good size karaoke on a Thursday. 3quid a pint feels about right. There aren’t any clientele but it feels like the kind of bar where everyone knows the barman. Notably the Stain glass round the top of the windows give it an eery aspect.
Overall the weirdest features about the long hope is its toilets which sit behind a kind of corridor on a platform overlooking the bar at the back of this pub, although the atmosphere is not here it has character and plays the role of a pub beyond the city buzz 6/10
