The Jolly Farmers Pub

Driving down the start of what seems like a grand country road means expecting horses, large oak trees and meadows, surprising then to come face to face with such a large bellied pub as the farmers arms. Reaching into the road with its high capacity front car park, the farmers is nicely set looking like a country beefeater where family dining is surely welcome. Well indeed inside food is half the order of the day, menus are numerous but selection not vast, packed with British favourites. The pub is also very much a drink haven as well, sporting a bar which winds around a whole side of the venue with fast service and a good selection of beers ales and bottles. The place does not seem to fill up much during the day so its totally recommended for a quiet lunch.

Overall a large friendly pub, a little out the way but with a minority of shades characters and the best bits of a chain country venue 7/10
