Slug and Lettuce

The layout of this slug consists of a wooden flooring which steps up to a platform behind stairs to the toilet which face the front door and a bar is off roud to the left. By the wat this is offically the most commerical slug and lettuce ever. A young crowd, a fiesty bar staff consisting of a barmaid with knockers which could knock over your tall-glass cocktail, alongside cocky cocktail men who i watch with a smile as they twist a bottle round their hands to show off to the crowd and it shatters on the floor of the bar. The venue remains light hearted but certain touches such as the wine look cheap and dirty. They are big on tables and yet with a DJ playing to the crowd there is no room for those girls who are only to eager to shake their hips in a corner, to shake full booty.

The way this bar has dropped its gastro-chain stuck up image is impressive and perhaps its the ealing crowd and not the bar itself which has bought about this change but it adds a fleck of life to an other wise dull party - 6/10
