Belugar Cafe (Canary Wharf - London)

Belugar Cafe (Champagne & Wine Bar)
A temporary building beside Canary Wharf serving food alcohol and hot drinks to lucky ice skaters using the rink beside it. I nipped in for some hot chocolate on a nice cold day and found it to be a quite place full of foreign bar staff who could not speak a word of English. The drinks were way overpriced and after knocking them back the realisation suddenly hits you- NO TOILETS. Isn’t that illegal??
Oh well with bottles of champagne to decorate the room your bound to be able to walk off with a souvenir should your bladder burst and you want some compensation.

Overall a dank 1/10.

i dont think you would find many people (possibly none) who consider canary wharf ’south’ london.

especially being north of the river and having an east london post code

    Love the blog
I have worked in and around London as a Bar manager for over ten years…..this August i gave it up and moved to brazil…love reading your reviews….you are normally very right in you views….but please visit more than two bars in the Docklands area….the Fox in West Silvertown…near the excel centre …. is fantastic as is the cleverly called “so-bar” across the bridge…..also you have Greenwich to explore…with the “gypsy moth” and many more….
keep up the good work mate
and if you fancy any views of the brazilian bar scene…….20p pint and sat by a road!!…. let me know
