The White Hart Pub

A self proclaimed pub on ancient grounds with a lurid doorway into a woody floored venue. Down this corridor there are tables either side and a bar on the right. The bar is littered with social friend pictures, youthful faces of the clientele, clearly a community pub. At the back the surprise of a more grand living room, spacious with white cream walls, posher furniture and a chandelier. The venue can be deemed in two words as bright and friendly despite looking like a run down corner pub from outside. The charismatic bar staff and some obviously good looking food (if the table next to me is anything to go by) bring a smile to my face along with a strange choice of retro games machines including space invaders.

The White Hart claims to be the oldest licensed pub in london, yet it seems to have discovered a recipe for youthful appeal. But its a claim thats hard to believegiven its awkward location. so Overall a perfectly pleasent and homely, not just the small old man pub that it looks like from the front - 7/10
