Brown’s Lounge Bar
On st martins lane is the most infamous browns bar with its oh so pretentious frontage and interior similar to some kind of minute palace in wood furnishing chandeliers and staff so quick to seat you with a smile. The attraction ends here. The staff member who serves us is fast to sell a certain cocktail of the day. We oblige and await the drinks. Looking around parties of spinsters clutching ice filled glasses of wine appear to engage in meek conversation about keeping up with the jones’ . With our opinion rapidly in decline the drinks arrive, they are very cheap because there must be less than a shot of alcohol in each. The waiter then brings over a bill for the table, returning minute after minute to see if we had paid. Now even if this bar closed at eleven in a school night, 9pm was hardly the time to kick us out.
Overall browns has got a real attitude problem, I see no appeal of this place other than a tourist trap pulling in people stupid enough to believe the signatory browns name means anything anymore 3/10
