Tommy Flynn’s Bar (Camden - London)

Tommy Flynn’s Bar

Tommy Flynn’s is rumoured to be a rough pub at the colder end of the red hot nightlife that is Camden Town, except these rumours have only been fueled by what seems to be fair bouncers and live showcased bands which themselves may play the odd heavy note but are by no means violent. I was lucky enough to watch the Vigoursperform at this venue recently and it added a better dynamic to the venue. Quite literally there is a small stage off to the left of the bar and right in the front window and the walkway leads down past a bar to the left into a back space where there are tables at different heights. The toilets are not the best and the drinks are a bit on the expensive side but it does well to pose as a venue for bands fighting there way among those that would be just as comfortable in the Dublin Castle or Boogaloos in Highgate.

Overall certainly not the best venue for live acts in Camden but those more hardcore fans of semi-pro music maybe more at home in here, closes a little too early as well, 5/10

This is a good idea, rating the bars, but you don’t seem to get a lot of comments and by the alexa rating, this site doesn’t get a lot of traffic. I my humble opinion, this site should be in the main stream of traffic, since you offer a viable critique service. If you get your traffic up then the ratings will follow and the advertisers will pay better. I like this site! A lot of work has gone into it and it has a good look.
