The Spread Eagle

A short trot from Camden tube station and a world away from it’s likeness of bars sits the spread eagle with its crowds of well dressed persons heaving outside and a sight of empty tables within. The bar is a twisted emblem shape with the skeleton of a very commercial, cheesy, yet up market gastro-pub feel. The bar staff are fast and professional but not necessarily friendly and the drinks are quite pricey at about £3.20 a pint. If you can call after work drinks lively then that is about all this place can offer you and totally not the place to bring a crowd with toilet entry so cramped you feel like a hampster in a 10-year-old’s telescope.

Overall 4/10. Unimpressed but it is still nice to be honest.

Still a good choice for the area characterized by seedy pubs, though.

Stilll a good upscale choice for an area characterized by seedy pubs, however.
