The Library Bar

This venue has changed hands more times that a jugglers balls. I am certain that I have reviewed it more than twice and each time it has a different name and the tiniest hint of a change to its interior staffing and theme. This time its called the library (because in the very back corner part of a wall has had book-like wallpaper glued to it). Inside the dark walls match the ominous colours of the exterior and the place smells like mint and urinal cakes. Happy Hour offers half price cocktails but they are made extremely slowly and come out more ice than cocktail, tasting sour and ill made. Probably one of the worst additions to the bar scene on Upper street and I can’t see this one surviving colder economic climates.

Overall a bar with interior put in on a budget, cramped, not well staffed and not a single shooter in site - 3/10
