Coq d’Argent Bar and Restaurant

With one of the most beautiful views in the city, this bar restaurant on the 8th floor of One Poultry is a class above the rest. Private lifts takes drinkers and diners up to a courtyard garden scene withsecluded outdoor tables and parts of the venue that splay out onto the rooftop almost with no barrier over the edge (summer access only). The interior is a high quality restaurant with fine service, sparkley cutlery and lavish helpings of natural light. The bar is a cramped and small affair with expensive drinks (beer in particular) and often too many stiff-upper-lipped individuals expecting service. There is little in the way of seating if you are just coming for a drink but the place offers a unique class of superiority and is a slice of Kensington rooftop demeanor in the heart of a bustling city.

Overall a great place to take someone to impress for dining and drinking, summer is the best and the seclusion of the lifts and access to the venue makes it feel elegant, exclusive and posh - 8/10
