Cheesy 70’s and 60’s all the way normally especially on a Tuesday when drinks in here are on average on a pound even on pints and bottles but this particular venue, no way. Steer clear ladies. Its particularly sleazy and its not a good layout either. Serving times are slow and you have to go downstairs to get in-never a good thing if your drinking. Its probably not that bad but I know i didn’t enjoy like I have enjoy other Flares bars in the past.
Overall 4/10because although its hugely cheap its just not nice.

A group of 24 girls visited Flares (Not Mathew St) city centre Friday 20th March, we were told off for bursting balloons, the manageress told us if we burst 1 more we were being thrown out. We offered to pay for them? this was met with an angry reaction where two burley door men threw us all out !!! Big mistake, as a publican you dont throw 24 money spending ladies out for bursting a few balloons.
By the way the door men agreed with us and we all had a good laugh at the young stroppy manageresss who lost her temper and threw a glass at the wall ???
Wonder how the brewery would respond to her ?
I also must add we were until then having a good time and spending lots

Take a good look at your Manageress she’s obviously in the wrong job.

Hi, girls. You’re girls after my own heart! I tend to get into bust mode when I see balloons. That’s what they’re there for!
