Bar @ Adelphi Hotel

Ok, so i did end up at this bar because of a private function, can I review it then? Of course I can, but take note that the cost of items may have been subsidised. The place itself is infamous for representing the interier of the titanic with lustrious late victorian halls and copious amounts of waiting staff, but to be fair the place is falling apart and needs renovation. The bar was split to cater the guests into the two rooms surrounding the dining hall. The firest bar was small, the staff incompitant and rude and waiting times- well expect to wait for forever. They have very little on tap and the cheapest thing is white wine at £8 for the house version in white. The second bar snaked round the corner with just as bad waiting times and actually ran out of glasses. I expected more from the toilets however, I entered to see a parade of lads cheering at an ever-flushing toilet cubicle chanting “Flush, Flush, Flush”. Extremely funny but left me walking away from the place not wanting to return.
Overall a poor 2/10, I have had better bar-service from back-alley strip clubs.
