Gravity Bar

Overlooking Dublin, the Gravity bar, located at the crows nest of the Guinness factory is a truly amazing bar with almost 360 degree views across Dublin and yet less that ten stories high. the bar itself occupies a simple room with the odd free standing table, the bar persons pour pint after pint of seemingly perfect Guinness with the odd coke for the kids. Waiting for our complimentary pints to settle we gaze out and from the Irish shore to the mountainous hills, it truly is a breathtaking view. Once our stouts settle down we drink and there are groans among the heavy tourist crowd - the agreement that this is the worst Guinness in Dublin seems apparent - watered down are the complaints and although I was not able to discern much difference, our Irish lead is disgusted enough to finish off every one’s pints while we wait for the lift back down to earth.
Overall despite incredible views this not a good bar, the place is littered with loud tourists, the venue has almost no seating and there is an atmosphere of rushing as new tourists continually arrive to savour the flavour and the view - 5/10
