The Old Manor - Wylotts

Lots of old people having their last meal. the music glides with the creeking of their bones, but it is reasonablely calm and to be fair is much nicer than most of the alternatives in the area and it seems from the popularity that this is no secret. It is a small network of round tables, corner tables, long wooden tables in what starts as an old shanty bar and turns into a fully fledged budget restaurant which looks like it does quit ewell for itself. The timber ceiling adds a nice older effect and dispite the inital impression that this just serves the local nursing homes, it is in fact very pleasent and safe.

Overall a calm among the stormy, loutish bars of Potters Bar where the more traditional pub goers appear relaxed and the elderly can afford a suffient meal in peace. 6/10

this place is great to be no matter your age or preferance.. the staff are lovely and always there to help… the managers are doing an amazing job of keepiong people safe and at the same time catering to the young and old. a great place to go for food as the chefs standards are high and there is a huge range of food.. dont knock it till youve tried it

I am absolutley miffed by the comment that all the staff are moody at the old manor, I work there and have done for the past 3 years and one thing we pride ourselves on is the fact that we are an extremely friendly group of people who all get along brilliantly together, inturn giving off the happy friendly atmosphere that has so many times been commented on. It appears to me that whoever left this comment is totally and utterly immune to the feeling of a warm homely place and therefore is probably one of the most miserbale people you will ever be unfortunate to meet. I can only hope that his visit was the first and last to the Old Manor.
