Merlotte’s Bar and Diner

Merlottes Bar is a strange bar/diner based in the middle of the woods. It baffles me how drinkers get two and from here without drinking (since they are all driving) and in fact we do see a few characters leave the bar, car keys in hand chased by the pretty waitresses across the car park as they try to find their vehicles. The bar owner Sam is not a very happy looking fellow but seems to have rapport with the rest of the customers. He flirts with one or two of the waitresses and makes them parade around in tiny miniskirts and tight tops. There place always seems to be pretty full and with a great selection of drinks and a pool table who can blame them? The venue even caters for vampires, offering several types of warmed true blood. Perhaps the most notable gimmick of the venue is that if you should see several customers staring at pretty blonde girl, you should join in until the whole bar is staring. It seems to be some kind of ritual or just hill-billy nosyness but it adds a bit of fun to a night out.

Overall a bit off the beaten track but it serve decent burgers with fries and has a vibrant atmosphere - 7/10
