Walkabout Bar

This walkabout is fairly large. On a Saturday night the street fills with the under aged as try tart themselves up to get inside. Within is a sea of young drunken students, very male dominated with women dotted around like buoys in the open sea. Some of then men masquerade around in masks, dancing as best they can to the cheese music pumping through the speakers. Despite all of this its not an overcrowded bar, serving times are fast and drinks are very cheap. There are also loads of TVs with the MTV of the 80s, filthy toilets manned by a gray attendant and burly bouncers out in full force. In the far corner the Stage is full of drinkers but its not an unfriendly crowd.
Overall you can see the appeal but its a place with about as much class as a tramp at the queens dinner table, simply big cheap and cheerful like the only girls that seem to find this venue appealing - 5/10
