Travellodge Bar Cafe

Very quiet in the day with an almost bare bar and a few sad looking tables next to the reception so you can’t be too loud. So for a town famous for its stag does this is not really even the sort of venue you want to start off having a drink in if indeed you are staying here. Incidentally although the bar is pretty poor in quality the receptionist who tells us she is in he sixties is extremely charming and kept our attention while we waited for the 3 o’clock time to check in , and deserves a raise.

Overall a well quiet, disappointing graveyard of a pub only for the desperatly thirsty who want to drink and dine alone in silence 2/10
