Inferno Bar and Pub

Inferno is The resident scream bar of bournmouth and next to a club that used to be called the fire station.inferno obviously used to be the pre party venue before people crammed inside the club next door but now it must rely on the student population to keep things running smoothly. It can’t be said that everything does however. We first head to the pool table which we find to be out of order. A sign tilt is difficult to make out in the interesting choice of lighting which in no way seems to simulate a fire. There are retro curtains and lampshades with tassels, projectors with wild visualisations being shone on the walls. As expected the population is students in particularly casual dress.it turns out that it is quite a big pub playing music from a modern jukebox with all genres of tunes available. Inferno isn’t overcrowded so bar service is fast but it is untidy and feels like a room in an student union. The bar staff also look unhappy to see more customers and there is a cliche feeling about the whole place.

Having said all this it is cheap for drinks and does at least provide some visual entertainment even if it is a little outside the main strip for all the other bars in town - 5/10
