The Burleydam (Chester)

The Burleydam

A family eatery, a spacious lounge for dining in which you are asked to place your order beside the front entrance in an orderly fashion and return to a fakely furnished table where the rest of your party sits gawking at the untamed children and families who wouldn’t know how to begin cooking a good Sunday roast. The bar sits at the very front of the establishment and offers overpriced drinks to those family members who have had it with the unruly kids and spend a full meal drowning their sorrows. Well I have to say that an hour is a long wait for a meal in a ny establishment and I found the Burleydam to be up there with the worst of them.

Overall just another large chain harvester with little more to offer a family of four than an enormously delayed and unsatisfying meal and comfortable-looking furnishings while they sink ever deeper into debt with the cost of the beverages - 2/10
