Duttons Wine Bar

Duttons is a big busy brooding pub with a large and noisy crowd, friendly enough and one of those kind of atmosphere’s that’s so filled with bustle that the bar itself feels messy with a thousand drinks spilled upon it and the poor barmaids looking drowned in orders of fifty drinks or more with wide eyes and punter’s change coming out of their fingertips. It is surprising that the place does so well - being hidden in a strange kind of alley but it remains quite pub-like, sporty it feels like the most popular pub in the world that has tried to transform itself into a wine bar and somewhat failed.

None-the-less we get a table with some ease and the staff are friendly despite the fact that navigate one pint through this sea of hysteria is a bit like letting a blind rat loose inside a maze with no exit, something must be done but i am out of ideas- good for a pint or two 6/10
