Brannigans Nightclub

Brannigans in Chester is a large commercial club clinging to the centre of Chester with its teeming nightlife and drunken revellers. There are often queue to get in but they are not as long as they were some years ago when Brannigans was the capital letter among the lowercase alphabet of the other bars and clubs in the town centre. One can expect to pay around seven quid to get in and within the crowd becomes sleazy and meat-market like although drinks prices are very cheap, racks of shots can be purchased and drunk directly on the large dance-floor and some of the strangest characters out on the pull seem to populate the venue.

Overall brannigans is a good place to go if your expectations of Chester are not particularly high, the music is very commercial and pop-like at times but it does make for a laugh if you ladies don’t mind your bra’s getting pinged every ten minutes or so - 6/10
